Well, today was a Monday.
My Corolla growled into the predawn haze of another "it's gonna be hot as shit today" Georgia morning as I blasted
DVNO with no regard to how others perceive me or the integrity of my brittle 15 year old speakers. Whatever! It's fine. I can't be held responsible for or give a shit about anything within an hour of waking up. I like a bit of childish irresponsibility amidst another 52 hour work week.
I trained a guy at work today. He's gay, but not obviously so. He kept getting close to me and ... weird. I'm sure of it though. I'm not used to that.
Work.... Oh, work. It's getting tiring. Hopefully the new station I'm getting trained at won't be so tedious as to cause me to disconnect from reality and then be jolted suddenly, violently back in by my apparently special-ed robot who drops his parts occasionally. Sometimes the floor around my station looks like the aftermath of a Battlebots arena. It's the loudest metal meeting violently upon metal CLANG that exists (except for the bent garage door rail my stepdad crashed his car into -- the sound of several square feet of aluminum garage door getting stuck between more aluminum while jolting back and forth and back and forth constantly in a cement floored 2 car garage 6 feet away from my bedroom is made slightly more amusing by the slow-mo-strobe garage light on the door motor as it desperately tries to propel the door in a direction unaffected by indecisive outside forces that it could not possibly comprehend -- it's so confused!)
Anyway! I'm going to see Stevie Nicks tomorrow in concert. As my friends are probably very well aware, I may become actually dangerous. I think Ted gave the best advice this morning:
6:08:03 AM ryan: STEVIE NICKS TOMORROW
6:08:05 AM ryan: OMG6:08:11 AM ted: lol
6:08:13 AM ted: don't black out
Sweet!
